  1. Everyone is not interested in this Splash Mountain re theme and the petition is now at 92,000 signatures. I hope we will get some better people to work for Disney. Because right now since 2020 around the same year COVID-19 happened Disney has been doing some weird and not very good things theses past 2 years. Other than that this is not going to share the same success as the Tower of Terror re theme. The reason why Mission Breakout worked so well because the Marvel stuff that Disney is doing in their parks right now is very popular than The Princess and the Frog. This is why everyone is saying no to the Splash Mountain re theme because everyone one is protesting and fighting against the re theme. In all honesty this re theme to a classic attraction is just so bad it’s unbearable.

Disney is being very weird enough to where they get rid of their most well know ride that attracts tourists by billions every year and getting rid of it because of a misunderstanding situation.

Should Disney file a lawsuit for doing it or its just the Disney Company has some not have good people to work for them?

On the other hand a lot of angry people will get Disney to sign a contract to not aloud anymore classic attractions getting re themes in the Disney Parks after Walt Disney's work.

  2. I will miss Splash Mountain. The Princess Tiana movie is good and I just hope they make this right incredibly beautiful and special and don’t just use stupid tv screens for animation. I didn’t pay $120 for my ticket to just watch a freaking TV on a ride. Make it special.

  3. RIP Splash Mountain (1989-2022)
Song of th South wasn't meant to be racist for one bit. The movie takes place after the Civil War and End of Slavery were they weren't treated so badly, it was a unique movie because James Baskett (Uncle Remus) was the first African Amercian to win an award at the Oscar's and Disney was amazed with James' performance. Critical and butt hurt people just don't understand what lays within the movie itself instead of just listening to critics and news reports because Song of the South is a hearted movie with alot of great stories and songs.

  4. And there goes another part of my childhood. The ride is iconic, just like a lot of other rides at Disney. What's next: getting rid of Haunted Mansion because it's too scary and it glorifies the dead (what they should do is slow the ride down some), or getting rid of Columbia because the ships back then were made of wood and that it might offend the tree-huggers?

Disney needs to get a grip on themselves and that they can't cater to every single thing the woke crowd demands.

  5. Dear Disney, do you know what doesn't have mountains New Orleans, you know what does Central America, you know what movie takes place in Central America,The Emperors New Groove. So heres my question, why not just make a ride based on that, theres multiple segments from the film that would fit perfectly before the drop.

  6. So let me get this straight. Big brain modern day Disney is going to replace a very iconic ride that has a memorable song known as zippity doo dah and change the theme with The Princess and the Frog? The same movie that bombed domestically and barely made its money back because of international sales? This is going to blow up in their face.

The princess and the frog costed 105,000,000 to make and only made 104,400,899 domestically while making 166,596,479 internationally totaling to 270,997,378 overall.

If you're going to replace Splash Mountain which I am certain a lot of people don't agree with the idea, including myself, at the very least use a memorable concept like The Lion King (no not the live action version), because that would've at least been a much better set up than the princess and the frog.

  7. Funny how they’re removing a ride that is based on black folklore and replacing it with a ride that’s based on white European stories that are portrayed with black characters. And what are the odds that they pick a black character instead of any other franchise ex. The jungle book

  8. Since when does New Orleans have mountains?! And why is a Disney Princess in Frontierland?! They belong in Fantasyland… If Disney wanted diversity, why not The Jungle Book? There were lots of alternative options and someone in an executive chair wanted to cherry pick a specific character.
