  1. He doesn’t belong in Gainesville, and this is from deep in my heart as a two-time UF graduate. UF has been a creative liberal bastion in the state, he really doesn’t belong there. As you all know by now, his nomination was politically based and part of a process created by the republican state legislature and by Gov. DeSantis. The GOP kept demanding transparency to the election processes of 2020, well, this is our time to ask for transparency and more so, persuade the Senator to stay away from Gainesville The students and considerable amount of alumni will fight him and that is not good for our alma matter nor for himself.

  2. As a resident of the backwards red state of Nebraska, I'm loving this. Ben Sasse is a spineless pos who's wants to leave politics because he fears Trump and like all of Trump's enablers he's terrified to not bend the knees and kiss the ring.

  3. USA Today rarely reports negative news on the Left. It's like the Left can do no wrong at all. Which is simply not the case.

I used to to think that USA Today was unbiased, factual, and neutral to report news on all Political sides. No more. It should be called: DNC Today.

  4. They are supposed to be there learning something. How do they have time for class and protest the whole day at the same time???? Either they use their student loan for something other than this. Its gotten us nowhere fast.

  5. mfs in the comments saying "entitled"
just as a taxpayer has a right to protest the government a college student has a right to protest the faculty
same people who complain about "snowflakes" can't STAND dissent apparently

  6. Students…you do realzie how idiotic you sound when you say "I dont feel safe" when someone wants ot talk at your universities. You creeey kids need to wake up, pay taxes, get an apartment, pay bills like your own tuitions …and shut the F up. Your parents bestoed upon the rst of us some rather odd kids. Shame on them.

  7. These students are bringing out only the tip of the iceberg of what is wrong with Sasse. Even tucker carlson opposed him. He's a real corporate swamp rat. He destroyed the economy by supporting a merger with cabbbeeeelllllaas. It destroyed the economy in the panhandle. I'm from Nebraska and I like Ricketts governor who is also republican. Mergers like that slow competition stop tech growth hurt our export ratio hurt Warren buffet lower wages decrease jobs raise prices hurt consumer confidence cause layoffs.

  8. They don't want him for left talking points. What does he have to do with abortion or you being lgbtqia plus thought you were going to school to learn. Same students that will be asking for debt forgiveness. Get your education and roll please and thank you.

  9. The commie pinko's just won't accept election results. It'd be fun to see a lot of them get drafted, they would have some black drill sergeant, yelling damn you boy, you love American don't you.

  10. February 28, 1933
    Reichstag Fire Decree empowers police
An emergency decree following the burning of the Reichstag (German parliament) on February 27, 1933, grants the police almost unlimited power of arrest. This power is known as "protective custody." View This Term in the Glossary In National Socialist terminology, protective custody means the arrest of potential opponents of the regime without benefit of a trial or judicial proceedings. Protective custody prisoners are confined not in the normal prison system but in concentration camps. These camps were initially established by the Storm Troopers (SA) and later came under the exclusive authority of the chief of the SS (the elite guard of the Nazi state).
